A Crown Heights family is facing a crisis. With two of their eight children in seminary and the other six in elementary school, high school and yeshiva, tuition costs — even after sizable discounts — are far more than they can afford.

Tuition for one or two children can be a challenge to working families, and tuition for eight can be incredibly expensive — more than a year’s rent, more than a typical salary pays. Add the burden of medical bills that this family owes for the care of one of their children, and the costs are beyond their reach. The parents are working full time and saving where they can, but the numbers simply aren’t adding up.

They’re doing their best, but the costs are overwhelming.

A campaign has been launched to raise $20,000 to help this local family pay their children’s tuition.
